By accessing and using the TranscriptHQ services ("Services"), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use the Services.

2. Description of Service

TranscriptHQ provides AI-powered transcript extraction services including:

• Video transcript extraction from YouTube, TikTok, Twitter/X, Twitch, and other platforms
• Audio transcription using Whisper AI for videos without captions
• Translation services supporting 100+ languages via Google Translate
• Bulk processing of videos, playlists, and channels
• Direct audio and video file upload transcription
• RESTful API access for developers

3. Account and Credits

To use our Services, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. Credits are used to access our transcription services, where 1 credit equals 1 minute of video content. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise specified.

4. Modifications to Terms of Use and Service

TranscriptHQ reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after any such changes will constitute acceptance of the new Terms. TranscriptHQ also reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services with or without notice at any time and without any liability to you.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for the knowledge of and adherence to any and all laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to your use of the Services. You agree not to:

• Use the Services to extract content you do not have rights to access
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the API
• Share or resell API keys without authorization
• Use the Services to infringe on intellectual property rights

6. API Usage

API access is subject to rate limits based on your subscription plan. You are responsible for securing your API keys. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate API access for violations of these Terms or excessive usage that impacts service quality for other users.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. TranscriptHQ expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated transcriptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall TranscriptHQ, nor its directors, employees, agents, partners, suppliers, or content providers, be liable under contract, tort, strict liability, negligence or any other legal or equitable theory with respect to the services for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.
